Leica Geosystems recently launched a new enhanced laser distance meter which has a special compact and innovative design - the Leica DISTO A2.

As all the Leica laser distance meters, the latest laser has enhanced features such as the red line which is even more visible in order for the user to perfectly measure any distance, even places where the access is difficult.

The user benefits also from the embedded shortcut keys meant for addition and calculation, as well as for surface and volume computation. In this manner, measuring is a piece of cake, as Leica thought of creating an illuminated display which makes it easy to measure anything, even in total darkness.

The second product to be launched by Leica Geosystems is the Leica DISTO A6 at the same time as the entry-level model. This one benefits from wireless data transfer via Bluetooth, free software designed to let the user export all kind of data in various software programs (Word Excel, AutoCad), an integrated viewfinder and a unique multifunctional end-piece.

And, if the previous model was impressive, this one is great, featuring all kinds of high-tech functions. Moreover, Leica Geosystems offers a two-year warranty on all Leica DISTO units.

The Leica DISTO brand covers a wide range of models, which are developed especially for professionals from craftsmen to architects and people in the real-estate business, along with many other amateurs.
