14 DAY TRIAL // Lego Universe, the recent toy-themed MMORPG from NetDevil, has just received a brand new zone for its virtual world, filled with new places to discover and the Ninjago, spinning ninjas that are part of the latest toy sets released by Lego.
Lego Universe was one of the most peculiar MMORPGs of last year, transforming players into the famous brick-based characters from the Lego toy sets and letting them loose on a unique virtual world.
Now, the online game is receiving its biggest update ever, as NetDevil, its developer, is adding the Crux Prime zone to Lego Universe.
The new Crux Prime zone is now available to all players, and delivers brand new challenges focused on the latest Lego Ninjago toy sets.
The Ninjago toys were launched last month, featuring spinning ninjas, as well as the ability to earn new content in Lego Universe through special codes.
"In-game, players must search the Ninjago Monastery Ruins on Crux Prime to meet Sensei Wu, who knows the secrets to the powerful skill of Spinjitzu, the only skill that can destroy the nefarious Skeleton enemies. Masters of Spinjitzu can twirl and whirl into a tornado of pure Imagination that destroys the bony villains once and for all. Players will also uncover new Ninjago treasures, such as the Skeleton Fort Model Set, Skeleton Rockets, Fright Speed Skeleton Car, and a cute but creepy Skeleton Dragon Pet," revealed Net Devil.
The Crux Prime zone will also deliver a brand new feature for players of Lego Universe, who can now join up in teams with three other friends and take on the challenges in the new territory.
"Within the vast Crux Prime zone, players will be treated to over 100 new missions and achievements to complete, and over 100 new pieces of gear, decals and weapons to collect and share. Players can search the battlefield to discover four rare new armor sets like the Bat Lord and Explorien Bot; and can also gear up with alternate-color Faction Kits, like the Black Knight, Red Sorcerer or Silver Samurai," the developer added.
Those that prefer to just build what they desire will also receive a new property world, called Avant Grove, which is open near Avant Gardens.
