For quite some time racing games have been synonymous with Electronic Arts' Need For Speed franchise, until Criterion Games has proved that you can also have fun in other titles, leaving aside its Burnout series of games.

The latest iteration is Burnout Paradise, a title that brought a massive open world environment filled with destructible billboards, stunt jumps and, most importantly, rivals that you could smash up during races. One of the biggest attractions of this game was the support that the Criterion team gave to it, bringing a lot of new DLC (Downloadable Content) packs provided with new features for the game, like a day-and-night cycle or the introduction of motorbikes to the streets of Paradise City.

The next big DLC pack, which the title will embrace, consists of four Legendary Cars, which have already been introduced in the last few months by the Criterion Team. Similar to some very famous motorcars to have appeared in movies and TV series, the Jansen 88 Special, the Hunter Manhattan Spirit, the Hunter Cavalry Bootlegger and the Carson GT Nighthawk will all make themselves noticed on the streets of Paradise City for a small fee.

While the whole pack costs 7.99 dollars, 7.99 euros, 6.29 pounds sterling, or 600 MS, the vehicles are available for individual purchase as follows: The Jansen is the most expensive, costing 3.99 dollars, 3.99 euros, 3.19 pounds sterling, or 320 MS, and the other three cars each amount to 1.99 dollars, 1.99 euros, 1.59 pounds, or 160 MS, depending on where you will make you purchase. The pack will arrive on Thursday on the Xbox 360 Live Marketplace, the PlayStation Store, with the PC version due out in about a month or so, as a concrete announcement will be released soon by Criterion.

All in all, these are all some very interesting cars that are sure to make a lot of people buy them and take them out for a test drive on the streets of Paradise City. Until Thursday, though, we can still enjoy the original vehicles from the game.
