Legacy of Kain: Defiance Action Replay Codes (PS2)

Defiance continues from where Soul Reaver 2 left off. Defiance starts with Kain infiltrating the Sarafan Stronghold by utilizing his bat-form in order to search for Moebius the Timestreamer, to search for answers regarding Raziel's whereabouts after he vanished into the Spectral Plane during the ending of Soul Reaver 2. However, after traversing through the stronghold and finding Moebius, Kain is left temporarily paralyzed by Moebius' magic scepter. Moebius uses this chance to escape and taunt Kain, but not before he hints that Raziel is in another time period.

Five hundred years later, in the Spectral Plane of the Elder God's Lair, Raziel lies in pain before the Elder God. It is revealed that Raziel has been held captive in the Lair for the five hundred years since Soul Reaver 2, due to Raziel's wish to no longer be the Elder God's "Reaper of Souls" and to avoid his inevitable fate of being trapped within the Soul Reaver. Soon, after the Elder God's taunting and claims of cowardice, Raziel pretends to submit to his will, and is allowed to leave to devour more souls. (Wikipedia)
