Valve has just revealed that the newest piece of downloadable content for the Left 4 Dead title, the Sacrifice, is now available for download on the PC and Xbox 360, and also backed up the offer with massive discounts for both Left 4 Dead 1 and Left 4 Dead 2.

Left 4 Dead and its sequel, Left 4 Dead 2, impressed a lot of multiplayer gaming fans with their tight mechanics and co-operative nature, and were supported with quite a lot of DLC after their releases by Valve.

Now, the latest piece of DLC has just been revealed, entitled The Sacrifice, and packs a new campaign, and is now available for download on the PC, thanks to Valve's Steam platform, and on the Xbox 360 through Microsoft's Xbox Live.

While PC users will be able to download it for free, Xbox 360 users will need to pay 560 MS points (around 7 U.S. dollars) to get it, thanks to Microsoft's different DLC policies.

But that's not all, as a further knife twist in the wound of Xbox 360 gamers, Valve is also hosting a special promotion on Steam, and cut the price of both Left 4 Dead 1 and its sequel, Left 4 Dead 2, in honor of the Sacrifice's launch.

Those that missed out on the co-op zombie killing adventure can get Left 4 Dead 1 and 2 for just 6.79 dollars a piece, less than the cost of the DLC on Microsoft's console.

If you want to purchase both games, a special discount is added, and they will cost 10.20 dollars.

Mac gamers should also jump on this promotion, as Left 4 Dead 2 is also playable on their own platform, and has the same discounted price.

Those that really want to go all out can get a four-pack of each game, with one tied to their Steam account and the rest can be given to friends through the gift option.

Overall, if you missed out on the whole Left 4 Dead experience, now is definitely the time to get in on it, but hurry up, as the offer stands until October 6.
