The 2009 shooter is still considered one of the best co-op zombie survival games out there

Valve is currently holding a sale of its acclaimed zombie survival first person shooter Left 4 Dead 2, offering the game at a 75 percent discount on Steam.

Granted, Left 4 Dead 2 is a bit dated, as 2009 was the year it was causing a furor within the gaming community, but its much-acclaimed cooperative multiplayer is still nothing to scoff about and is still considered one of the premier zombie survival shooters out there.

Players can enjoy the four-player cooperative campaign together an venture through the zombie infested Deep South, travelling from Savannah to New Orleans and scavenging for weapons an supplies.

The game offers a wide arsenal of weaponry and a frantic fast-paced horror shooter experience, complete with upgradable firearms, carnage unleashing melee weapons and deadly improvised offensive tools such as Molotov cocktails.

Left 4 Dead 2 also allows players to take on the role of horrendous infected zombies and attempt to slaughter their friends in its Versus Multiplayer mode, offering a custom-fitted and forever challenging gameplay experience.

The game is offered alone or part of a four pack, with extra copies to gift to your friends and get the party going. Additionally, the Left 4 Dead Bundle including both the original Left 4 Dead as well as its sequel is also discounted by 75 percent.
