The development team at Valve is launching a new update for its cooperative shooter Left 4 Dead 2, which eliminates a number of bugs and improves the use of the scripting linked to the title.

The company says that most of the problems it has dealt with were associated with mutations, with missing localization and a lack of stability.

The full changes made to EMS scripting can be seen in the official announcement.

Left 4 Dead 2 can already be considered an old title, but Valve is continuing to update it because the game still enjoys a solid player base and content is still getting delivered through the Workshop feature of Steam.

Rumors suggested a few years back that a Left 4 Dead 3 might be in development, but no official announcement about the title was ever made.
