The development team at Valve is launching a new beta update for Left 4 Dead 2, the team-based cooperative shooter focused on vanquishing the undead.

The full list of changes reads:

- Fixed dedicated server depots missing shared content - Fixed dedicated servers not registering properly with the master server - Fixed yellow screen corruption that occurs on AMD Radeon HD 6000 Series hardware - Updated database to include video cards from the Steam survey through April 2013. - Adjusted add-on sorting when loading the main menu so Mutation add-ons can override UI elements.

The new update is automatically applied when a gamer runs Steam.

Left 4 Dead has been a very successful title for Valve in both its incarnations and rumors suggest that the company is preparing a third entry in the series, which might be linked to next-gen consoles in addition to the PC.
