Developer Valve is delivering a new update for the Big Picture mode for Left 4 Dead 2 via the Steam digital distribution service, which will be automatically applied once the gamer runs the program the next time.

There’s just one change included in the update for the cooperative zombie shooter:

- Updated menu navigation for Big Picture Mode so the joystick doesn't always have to be active

Big Picture mode is designed to bring the experience for Steam closer to that of a home console and the games that Valve itself has developed are an excellent way of showcasing the feature.

The developer has repeatedly suggested that it is planning more content for the Left 4 Dead franchise, but has repeatedly denied that a third game in the series is actually in development at the moment.
