A new important patch has been pushed by Valve for L4D2

Left 4 Dead 2 has been released by Valve, along with Portal, on Steam for Linux and the game has already received an update.

Left 4 Dead 2 is an FPS zombie-killing cooperative game, developed by Valve with millions of fans all over the world.

Highlights of the latest Left 4 Dead 2 patch:

• The performance of the scripted template entity has been improved; • Linux clients are not allowed to load plug-ins without the –insecure command; • player.ReviveFromIncap() command can revive an incapacitated player; • The Player.GiveUpgrade( upgrade ) command can give a primary weapon upgrade; • The Player.RemoveUpgrade( upgrade ) command can remove a primary weapon upgrade.
