It seems that classic is never out of fashion. This summer has already seen the return of The Police to the stage after two decades. And now we have more great news. The remaining three members of the legendary rock band Led Zeppelin are about to come together one more time for a reunion gig.
Singer Robert Plant, guitarist Jimmy Page and bassist John Paul Jones have decided to go their separate ways in 1980, after the death of drummer John Bonham. In a somewhat ironic twist of fate, it is the death of another close friend of theirs that brings them together. The concert that is most likely going to be held in London will be in memoriam Ahmet Ertegun, the founder of Led Zeppelin label Atlantic Records. Ertegun died in December last year after lying seven weeks in a coma following a heavy fall at a Rolling Stones concert.

In order for the band to be complete, the three remaining members have turned to Jason Bonham, none other than John Bonham's own son. This reunion concert - should it actually happen - will be the first gig played by Led Zeppelin since their 1985 appearance at Live Aid. Plant and Paige attempted a previous comeback in the 90's, when they produced two albums: "No Quarters: Jimmy Page and Robert Plant" and "Walking Into Clarksdale". However, they did not include John Paul Jones in these collaborations.
Well, as before, Paige and Plant are the ones to give the green light for a comeback, but this time they intend to do it in full force. But wait, there's more!
Robert Plant has declared that if this reunion concert goes well and they don't all fall out, there's a very big chance that Led Zeppelin will be going on a world tour. How does that grab you? All we can do for now is anxiously await for the band members to agree on a date for this (first out of many) concert. We will keep you posted as this unfolds.
