Mad HackerZ Team, the hackers from Lebanon who started an electronic revolution against the country’s government, breached the official site of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants, and the one of the Batroun Municipality, a city that’s well known for its touristic attractions.

The site of the Batroun Municipality was defaced, but in the case of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants, the hackers gained administrative rights and probed its database in search for sensitive information.

“We are trying now to collect the largest possible number of important sites of Lebanon, and I prepared all the Lebanese many surprises!!!” the group’s leader, Mad Hacker, told us.

“I have noticed this week that the pirates in Lebanon started to move! Some of them seemed to support us in our revolution,” he added.

In the upcoming period, the hacktivists plan on defacing a large number of important sites which they found to be vulnerable.
