Professional English - Video Live Edition, launched in France, as well as other European countries, this month will provide users with live English tutoring by native speaking instructors directly on their 3G Video-enabled mobile phones. The course is a result of the collaboration between 3iMobile, a New-York based company that provides instruction language courses and specializes in mobile learning for international business executives, and 3G Factory, the first 3G video provider in France. A successful pilot of the course was carried out by French operator SFR, with over 100 customers and employees, presenting the advantages of mobile learning.

"Convenience and individual attention, so important to learning a language, are the essence of this course. With Professional English, students have a private English tutor and a structured, interactive video course, all delivered by mobile phone, so learning really happens anywhere, anytime," according to Roy Thomas, president of 3iMobile.

The comprehensive course presents interactive video and text learning elements on any 3G capable mobile phone and will allow students to access video lessons, interactive grammar, vocabulary exercises or video conversations on their own handset. Each course includes 20 lessons, on a range of business topics and each lesson is followed by a live tutoring session with a 3iMobile professional English-speaking teacher.

Professional English - Video Live Edition targets the business users, from beginner to advanced, that want to learn English in an easier and more convenient way. It will bring important benefits to busy executives that can now learn English while on the go, with the help of their mobile phone, and always be "face-to-face with an instructor, without being in a class", as one of the students reported.
