There’s an increasingly growing number of companies targeting the child tablet sector these days and a lot of them choose to sell their products in India for really affordable prices. Among them is LeapFrog, a company that has already made a name for itself in the educational sector.

Now LeapFrog has taken up a partnership with the MBE (My Baby Excel) premium toy brand to put out a new kiddie slate called the LeapPad 2.

LeapFrog has already put out a child friendly tablet, but the next-gen one comes with additional improvements in the entertainment and creative department.

The slate features a 5-inch screen plus an LF 2000 processor. It offers 4GB of memory and comes with powerful educational tools like a fully-fledged library of 800+ games, eBooks, videos and much more.

The LeapPad 2 offers a better than average battery life, with children being able to use the devices up to 9 hours on a single charge.

The tablet comes bundled with 9 apps like PhotoLab, Art Studio, Pet Pad and more. There’s a possibility of downloading more apps from the dedicated LeapFrog App Store. The LeapPad also comes with a stylus.

Children have the opportunity to choose between two cheerful colors – green and pink. The tablet will become available from stores like Hamley’s, Landmark, Lifestyle and others for the price of Rs 11,999 / $195.60 / €144.
