Finally, hopes coming from Motorola

News from Motorola, announcing a new phone release have been expected for some time. Finally, we now have the first images of Motorola LAZR phone, but with few specifications.

Motorola RAZR has been a tremendous success with its 50 million pieces sold by now. Still, Motorola has taken its time in coming up with a new important phone launch, especially due to the high expectations.

This new CDMA "LAZR" V9m phone may not be a revolutionary idea or even a new concept coming from Motorola, but what it does bring is an expected promising phone model. What most differentiates this soon to be launched cell phone from Motorola RAZR 2 is the fact that this is actually a CDMA phone. Aside from that, the design features are in many points similar to the old phone model.

Interesting enough, Motorola V9m features two displays, both touch screens and of large sizes. A previous rumor stated that this phone will come Linux powered. Still, it supports Adobe Flash, which contradicts with that possibility. Even more, the phone has a 512MB of internal memory, but, unfortunately, lacks a memory expansion slot which often proves quite useful in the case of mobile phones capable of high performances.

As for design features, when seen pictured next to a MOTORAZR, it seems a bit larger in width, but far more elegant in its design. One sure thing is that the large external touch screen display only adds to its style.

Motorola V9m LAZR or RAZR 2 is expected to launch on Verizon Wireless first, but an estimated date for this has not been provided yet.
