A Japanese electronics vendor has allegedly obtained parts that Apple plans to use in its next-generation iPhone 5S. The Cupertino, California-based tech giant is expected to unveil its next iPhone this summer.

Leaked by Japanese parts vendor Moumantai and French site Nowhereelse.fr, the purported iPhone 5S parts are a slightly redesigned Home button and a vibrator piece.

The home button is very similar to the one found on current-generation iPhone models, but the flex cable used to connect it to the logic board appears to be longer compared to the one featured in the iPhone 5.

Rumor has it that Apple wants to integrate biometrics technology into the home button of its future iPhones. Whether the iPhone 5S will be the first to get it remains unclear. The images don’t say much from this standpoint.

The second part of the leak involves a vibrator. Based on the images, the part is attached to a flex cable that also carries the volume buttons and ute switch. As usual, we can’t confirm the veracity of this leak, but we couldn’t let this one slip past our radar, just in case it turns out accurate.
