New screenshots that reached the web a few minutes ago reveal a whole new set of wallpapers for Windows 8.1, confirming that Microsoft is trying to make the operating system a bit more eye catchy.
All photos seem to be made on a Chinese version of Windows 8.1 RTM, which means that some Asian users have already gotten their hands on the stable build of the operating system.
As I told you a few minutes ago, several screenshots showing the RTM in action have also been leaked, which means that Microsoft has indeed finalized work on the OS update and is now shipping it to OEMs across the world.
As far as general availability is concerned, end users will get Windows 8.1 on October 18, but we’re pretty sure that leaked ISOs will reach the web in just a few days.
