CyanogenMod, the most popular custom platform based on Android, is set to arrive on the very first smartphone built specifically for it before the end of April, and leaked screenshots are now available to offer a glimpse at what the OS will offer to its users.

The handset, called OnePlus One, has been long teased to arrive on the market sometime this year, yet no specific info on what the software loaded on top of it will look like has been provided as of now.

Said leaked screenshots, available courtesy of Engadget, are meant to change that, bringing to light the Android 4.4 KitKat-based OS that will be loaded on top of it and that will be called CyanogenMod 11S, it seems.

The platform appears to include a series of customizations that will most probably be exclusive to the OnePlus One smartphone, such as the lock screen, which sports a cleaner look, with the clock, date, weather, battery level, and text messages displayed there.

The upcoming device will also feature on-screen buttons, one of the screenshots unveils. The phone will indeed be called One and will run Android 4.4.2, it seems.

According to OnePlus, the smartphone will hit shelves with a 5.5-inch full HD touchscreen display, a quad-core Snapdragon 801 processor, and an affordable price tag when compared to other high-end devices out there.
