Soon, Japanese mobile phone maker Sony should make official a new device in the Xperia lineup, namely the long-rumored Sony D6503 Sirius, and some more info on the features that it will offer is now available.

The mobile phone is expected to hit shelves with a new Timeshift video app, which will provide users with the possibility to record clips at a high frame-rate, and then apply slow motion effects to them.

The screenshot comes from XDA-Developers Forum member iRimas, who previously published a variety of screenshots from the leaked Sony D6503 ‘Sirius.’

The image shows the UI of the upcoming app, with an arc that supposedly shows the timeline, where the blue portion is suggested to be the part where the slow motion effects apply, as XperiaBlog notes. Apparently, users will be able to adjust the length of the slow-motion section.
