The premium smartphone hasn’t been confirmed as of now

Samsung Galaxy F, supposedly a premium smartphone from the South Korean handset vendor, is nearing its official availability, and a new image with it is now available for your viewing pleasure, showing it in a new color flavor.

The leaked image comes from infamous tipster @evleaks, who notes that this is indeed the Samsung Galaxy F, “in crystal clear,” but who does not offer additional details on what users should expect from it.

According to previous reports on the matter, however, we might see the yet unannounced smartphone made official with a 5.3-inch touchscreen display capable of delivering a Quad HD resolution.

The handset also appears to sport a very small bezel, though people who have been keeping an eye on leaked details on the matter should already know that.

Moreover, as can be seen in the newly spotted image as well, the phone will sport a metallic finish on the back plate. In fact, the handset is said to arrive on the market with a metallic body, something that no other Galaxy phone available at the moment sports.

Overall, the Galaxy F could arrive on the market as a premium version of the Galaxy S5, a device that has been long rumored to be released under the name of Galaxy S5 Prime, but which has never been launched in this form (though Galaxy S5 LTE-A is considered S5 Prime now).

Thus, the phone would sport all of the high-end hardware specs available inside the current Samsung flagship smartphone, along with some additional ones, rumor has it.

This means that it would arrive on the market with a Snapdragon 805 processor inside, 3GB of RAM, and 32GB or more of internal memory. A microSD memory card slot for expansion purposes is also expected to be present inside the device.

On the back, it should sport a 16-megapixel or higher camera, most probably with support for recording videos in 4K resolution. A 2MP camera should be present on the front of the mobile phone too.

Samsung Galaxy F is also said to feature the usual set of connectivity capabilities inside, including 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC, and built-in GPS receiver. Moreover, it should run under the latest Android KitKat OS out there, if not under Android L.

Unfortunately, Samsung hasn’t confirmed plans on the release of this device as of now, although a company’s official did say a few months ago that a premium series of smartphones might arrive on shelves sooner rather than later.
