If current rumors are correct, AMD should announce the new Radeon HD 4830 graphics card sometime tomorrow. The Radeon HD 4000-series graphics card has already been spotted on the Internet on several occasions, with some websites even suggesting that tomorrow, the Sunnyvale, California-based chip maker will officially introduce it. This will also be the cue for some of the company's major partners to unveil their own HD 4830 graphics card.

As mentioned above, several leaked photos of the upcoming card have already surfaced on the Internet, with cards designed by companies such as PowerColor, MSI and Sapphire. One of the more recently revealed cards comes from HIS Digital, which is among AMD's largest board partners. The yet-to-be released Radeon HD 4830 from HIS looks similar to one of the company’s Radeon HD 4850 cards, but aside from that, it delivers the technical specifications of an HD 4830 reference model.

The card itself is built on a blue PCB, and is featured with a single slot fan and heatsink cooling solution. It features a standard core speed for both the GPU and memory, and comes with a decent 512MB of GDDR3 memory. The GPU is clocked at 575MHz, while the graphics memory is set to run at 1800MHz. As some of you already know, this incarnation of AMD's RV770 graphics processor comes with 640 Stream Processors to deliver an impressive performance level at a more affordable price tag, when compared with the HD 4850 and HD 4870 card offerings.

You will obviously get support for a multi graphics setup with the help of ATI's CrossFireX technology. Other features include a 256-bit memory interface, DirectX 10.1 support, UVD 2.0 and Dual-DVI connectivity. Unfortunately, there are no official pricing details available at this time, but the card is expected to sell for something in the $140 - $150 range.
