Less tapering around the edges, small enough to fit in one hand

French Apple blog Nowhereelse.fr is flashing new photos depicting the rumored iPad mini, this time showing what the finished product may look like.

Originally published by DGtle, the images in question seemingly depict an aluminum shell with a glass panel covering the front featuring a (still) image of Apple’s iOS.

Nothing spectacular (or new, for that matter), but the photos do give us a pretty good idea not only of what this tablet will look like, but what it will feel like as well. It seems that a male user of regular proportions will be able to hold this thing edge-to-edge in one hand.

Apple seems to be using the same degree of finish in the aluminum casing, so no changes in this department. However, the tapering is far less obvious than in current-generation iPads. Which doesn’t make it look too spectacular, if we may say. What do you guys think?
