Chinese mobile phone maker ZTE has announced not too long ago plans to bring to the market a new series of highly appealing devices in the Nubia lineup, with the ZTE Nubia Z5 being the very first of them.

The company did not offer too many details on the handset, nor did it say when exactly it would hit shelves, but it seems that it might not be too long before we might learn all about it.

The Android phone can be seen now in a leaked photo that shows its back plate, which resembles a lot HTC’s design principles, just as gizchina notes.

The handset is said to be thinner than the iPhone 5, while packing a quad-core processor inside, along with a large 5-inch 1080p touchscreen and a 13MP photo snapper on the back. The smartphone is expected to be officially launched in December.
