Microsoft’s rebranded cloud-based storage service is part of the new update

As I already told you not a long time ago, Microsoft included OneDrive, its rebranded cloud-based storage service currently known as SkyDrive, in Windows 8.1 Update 1.

Screenshots that reached the web recently confirm this, but a new photo published by PCPortal indicates that Microsoft has actually prepared several new features in this regard.

Whenever you access the properties screen of an executable file, you’re provided with an optional that allows you to “enable this program to work with OneDrive files,” so Redmond has developed deeper cloud integration for this update.

Windows 8.1 Update will debut in March, but leaks are on their way right now, so expect ISOs that allow you to try out the release before the public launch to reach the web in just a couple of weeks.
