Over the weekend, Oscar-winning actor Jamie Foxx became the latest celebrity to be exposed to the public, as a personal photo of him got leaked on the Internet. In the few hours since it went online, attorneys for the actor have been pulling almost every copy of it down, which only goes to show that it was the real deal, and the person in it was really Foxx, MediaTakeOut says.

The photo shows the actor in nothing but a black bandana, standing in front of a mirror with a digital camera in hand, and seems to have been taken in a bathroom. MediaTakeOut was the outlet that got it first and posted it online, but also the first to acknowledge that it had no right to do so because it lawfully belonged to the actor, who had taken it in connection with a movie role.

As it is usually the case in such situations, Foxx’s lawyers contacted MediaTakeOut and demanded that the photo be taken down, which could be interpreted as the best confirmation that the man in it was indeed the actor. “Well unbeknownst to us – the man in the pic was actually actor Jamie Foxx!! How do we know this?? ‘Cause his lawyers sent us a nasty email claiming that the photo was his property – and that it was taken in connection with a movie role. Who woulda known...” MediaTakeOut writes about why it had to take down the photo.

When the photo first started appearing on celebrity blogs, it was believed that Foxx had also fallen prey to the trendiest celebrity “affliction” of taking pictures of themselves and then, one way or the other, having them out there for everyone to see. Because of this, bloggers and unhappy fans compared him to the likes of Paris Hilton, Britney Spears and Vanessa Hudgens, which, clearly, did him no service at all.

Speaking of Hudgens, the Disney star was recently publicly humiliated by comedian Dane Cook, as we also told you last week. As he took the stage to present the Choice Hottie Awards, Cook called Vanessa out and then told her very matter-of-factly that, “Girl, you gots to keep your clothes on! Phones are for phone calls, girl.” He was, as fans must know, referring to a series of photos from Vanessa’s personal photo album that ended up on the Internet.
