One of the most expected devices of this half of 2014 is OnePlus One, the very first smartphone out there to arrive on shelves with the CyanogenMod platform loaded on top right out of the box.

In fact, this is also the first handset to have been designed specifically for this operating system, and the guys over at OnePlus worked together with CyanogenMod for the building of the device, it seems.

The phone was confirmed quite a while ago, its maker also confirmed plans to make it official come April 23, but no details on what it will look like when that happens have been provided as of now.

However, a leaked photo that emerged online today provides us with a glimpse of the device, only one week before it goes official in Beijing, as GizChina notes.

Should this image prove to be the real deal, OnePlus One will arrive on the market with a large motto on the back, though the rest of the phone’s design features are not as clear as one might expect.

The phone is expected to sport a 13-megapixel Sony camera on the back, with dual-LED flash, though it can barely be seen in the aforementioned leaked photo.

Most probably, this is so because the image you are looking at is not of the phone itself, but it shows a photo of the device.

OnePlus one should be announced on April 23 with a 5.5-inch full HD touchscreen display, as well as with a 2.5GHz Snapdragon 801 processor packed inside, and with 3GB of RAM next to it.

The phone is powered by a 3100mAh battery, while running under the aforementioned CyanogenMod platform, which is based on Google’s Android 4.4.2 KitKat OS.

According to previous reports on the device, the Chinese vendor is planning on making it available in no less than 16 countries out there, including Austria, Germany, and the UK, in Europe. China is also expected to be one of the markets to see the device soon after launch.

In fact, a recent article on Engadget suggests that the pricing that this phone will feature when released across Europe has already leaked online, and that the phone will be quite affordable.

Apparently, the mobile phone will be £290 ($487/€352) in the UK, while priced at €350 ($484) in other European markets. The phone should land in Hong Kong at $3,000 HKD ($387/€280).

At this price tag, the handset will be a bit cheaper when compared to the Nexus 5, but more expensive than Nokia’s mid-range Lumia 1320.
