New leaked BlackBerry OSes have made it into the wild for the owners of a Storm 9500 device and for the Bold and Curve 8900 users as well, following the recently leaked OS 5.0.0.140 for the BlackBerry Storm 9530. The new firmware available for the Storm 9500 has the same number as last week's leak, while the software for Bold and Curve 8900 is OS 5.0.0.130.

The resemblance between OS 5.0.0.140 for the 9530 and the one for the Storm 9500 seems to be striking. Users are reporting a lot of issues that surfaced as they switched to the new firmware version, including lack of Internet connectivity, email, SMS, MMS and IM functionality, some sound problems, as well as the fact that most of the applications don't seem to work anymore either.

Apparently the leaked OS is only a beta version, which would explain why there are so many issues present there. Those who are interested in learning how it looks on their devices should head to CrackBerry to learn more on it, and they will also find a download link there, though it would be better if they waited for an official release to surface.

As for the OS 5.0.0.130 that leaked for the BlackBerry Bold and Curve 8900, it seems that the new builds do not come with RIM internal apps installed, while the BlackBerry Messenger 5.0 hasn't been included in the firmware either. The same as with the OS for Storm, some of the applications won't work, though the Bold firmware is reportedly a quite nice build after all.

More details on the OS 5.0.0.130 can be found on CrackBerry too. Keep in mind that none of these releases is an official one, and that the handsets might experience a series of problems, mainly due to the fact that the software versions are not aimed for public use. In case you are not sure about how to flash the device, you had better wait for RIM to officially announce a new OS before installing a leaked one.
