"Hey punk, are you the one who leaked Manhunt 2?" "Yeah, what's it to you...?" No man, I'm just kidding with the gun, I actually wanted to congratulate you."

Sure, Rockstar has had quite a rough time with the Manhunt franchise and especially with the title's latest installment, Manhunt 2, but who's to say enough is enough? According to GamerSquad.com, "an early PlayStation 2 build of Manhunt 2 has appeared online, courtesy of Team Slonik" and although the leaked title is supposed to be an early beta version of Manhunt 2, it is guaranteed to be the stuff only the Dutch are getting - uncensored Manhunt 2.

This is the kind of thing that makes you want to move to Holland, but we have other, more delicate things to discuss such as "how on friggin' Earth is it possible for a violent and sadistic title such as Manhunt 2 to run free?!" It can't be a series of unfortunate events that led to the game's beta version getting leaked. In fact, chances are that someone was very angry that the game had been banned in all those countries, that they decided to show the world exactly what the BBFC had dismissed back in June, when the ESRB was a little more indulgent and just gave it an AO (Adults Only) rating.

Who knows, maybe now that the uncensored face of Manhunt 2 is out, the ESRB, BBFC and PEGI rating boards won't have an alternative but to give everyone the same product. Naaa...! It's every country's job to see what their youth is consuming in terms of media products, so things can't change much because of this leakage.

It's Rockstar who's losing again because of this, as the franchise's reputation has already been harmed once and now fewer people are going to want the "soft" version of Manhunt 2, which is set to launch on October 31st.

It's against our policy to give information as to how you can actually get your hands on the game, so you're going to have to do the digging for yourselves. But if you do decide to try out the (supposed) uncensored beta version of Manhunt 2 for the PS2, do stop by again when you get the chance and leave your impressions within the comments column below.
