One of the devices that Chinese mobile phone maker Huawei is expected to make official in the not too distant future is Huawei Ascend W2, a Windows Phone 8 handset that can now be admired in the leaked press photo attached to this post (courtesy of @evleaks).

The mobile phone made it to the headlines a few times before, and was expected to make an official appearance at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona this year, but has yet to be formally announced.

Packing a 4.5-inch HD screen and a 7.7mm thin body, the smartphone is expected to prove a great competitor for Nokia’s Lumia 920.

Its specs list reportedly includes a dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM, 16GB of internal memory, an 8-megapixel photo snapper on the back, and a 2800 mAh battery inside.

The smartphone is also said to sport a price tag of around $515 (400 Euro), though others suggest that it might be cheaper, at only $290 (224 Euro)
