Taiwan-based mobile phone maker HTC is one of the companies expected to come to the market with Windows Phone 7 devices as soon as the fourth quarter of the ongoing year, most probably in October, and alleged photos of one of the company's handsets have just emerged into the wild. No specific details on the handset's branding on availability have emerged, but the images attached to this article should be enough for the time being.

This HTC mobile phone sports a candybar form factor, and the photos show it running under what might be the technical preview of Microsoft's forthcoming mobile operating system. Interestingly enough, no HTC Sense user interface is visible in these shots, even if HTC said that it would still pack some of its own enhancements into the new mobile operating system. However, this does not exclude the possibility that the phone would include the solution at launch, something that would happen several months from now.

When it comes to the specifications list this mobile phone would arrive on shelves with, we can count a 3.7-inch SLCD touchscreen display, complemented by an 8-megapixel photo snapper. The upcoming device is reportedly powered by a 1GHz Snapdragon processor, and it said to be hardware ready. One other thing that can be spotted in the available photos includes the three front buttons all Windows Phone 7 devices should have, which are touch sensitive in this case, a recent article on Engadget notes.

As for the where the device would make an appearance on the market, it seems that the United States is a strong possibility. HTC is said to be in talks with two large wireless carriers in the country for the phone's launch, and that one of them would be Verizon Wireless (Sprint might be the other one, due to the CDMA connectivity they share). However, since nothing is official at the moment, we'll enjoy the available photos with this Windows Phone 7 device from HTC, while expecting for an announcement to emerge.
