Despite the fact that NVIDIA is yet to officially unveil its GeForce 9400GT graphics card, leaked photos of it have already surfaced on the Internet, suggesting that the date when it drops is getting closer. Two of NVIDIA's graphics card partners, namely Gigabyte and Zotac, are ready to release their own models based on the entry-level 9400GT graphics processor.

The upcoming low-end card is meant to replace NVIDIA's current 8500GT, which will eventually phase out of this segment of the market. Part of the company's G92 lineup, the card will have a performance level lower than the recently released 9500GT. As expected, some of NVIDIA's board partners are already gearing up for the official release, including the already mentioned Zotac and Gigabtye.

The leaked product photos have surfaced on the Donanimhaber website and, judging by them, both manufacturers have apparently decided to go with different card designs, with each card using its own custom cooling solution. Apart from that, both cards equip a reference clocked GPU, while the memory and Shaders are also featured with standard clock speeds. According to the info posted on the website, GeForce 9400's GPU, Shaders and memory will be set to work at 550MHz, 1400MHz and 800MHz clock speeds.

Both cards will sport 16 Stream processors and 512MB of GDDR2 memory set to work at a 128-bit memory interface. Also, the two of them seem to be equipped with an VGA, DVI and S-Video connector. They will also sport NVIDIA's SLI technology, allowing entry-level users to boost graphics performance by connecting two of these cards on an SLI-capable motherboard.

No word on pricing for neither of the two but, given their targeted market segment, we are probably looking at a price point below the $100 range. Regarding the card's official release date, NVIDIA is expected to make the announcement at its NVISION 08 event that is currently taking place in San Jose, California.
