F-Secure experts have come across some recently leaked sales brochures for FinFisher, the controversial surveillance solution said to be used by governments from all over the world to spy on their citizens.

The brochures show that Gamma Group hired Martin Johannes Münch, the main developer of Backtrack Linux, to design a “comprehensive portfolio.” In addition, many of the company’s research specialists and programmers often attend hacker conferences such as DEF CON and Black Hat.

The leaked pictures also show the capabilities of the FinUSB Suite, used to infect computers with a USB stick; the FinIntrusion Kit, used to record wireless network credentials; and FinFly USB, which allows users to deploy a backdoor from a USB device.

A couple products are designed specifically for ISPs. FinFly Web allows ISPs to inject modules into popular websites, while FinFly ISP allows companies to inject the remote monitoring solution into user downloads and software updates.

Another interesting product is FinSpy Mobile, which, according to F-Secure, is the first malware that supports not only BlackBerry, iOS, and Android, but also Windows Phone.
