BlackBerry Bold 9700 is among the mobile phones from Canadian mobile phone maker Research In Motion to have been already spotted into the wild with the latest version of the company's mobile operating system on board, and it appears that the solution already leaked for the handset.

The bottom line is that the Bold 9700 tasted a leaked BlackBerry 6 OS, and that people might already find the solution available for download on various sites around the Internet, a recent article on BBLeaks states.

According to the news site, the software solution that leaked for Blackberry Bold 9700 was BlackBerry OS 6.0.0.344, which is expected to prove a pretty decent build for those interested in downloading and installing it on their handsets.

We should warn you that this is not an official software solution for BlackBerry Bold 9700, and installing it would void the warranty.

Moreover, users interested in making the move should make sure they back up all data on their devices, so that no important files are lost during the installation process.

However, it would be better if Bold 9700 users who are unfamiliar with what the installation of such a leaked OS on their device is all about stayed away from this build and waited for the official release to be made available for them.

According to previous rumors on Bold 9700 and the new BlackBerry 6 OS from RIM, the two should go along pretty well, even if the handset comes with a smaller amount of RAM than what would be optimal for the platform.

Its successor, the Bold 9780, fixes this, but this is a new BlackBerry device, which was announced officially only recently, and which won't hit shelves right away.

Since the leaked OS is fit for Bold 9700, the handset's owners should rest assured that RIM is working on delivering an OS upgrade for them, though there's no telling on when the software might be released into the wild.
