Canadian mobile phone maker BlackBerry is getting ready for the release of a new version of its popular BBM application on mobile devices, and a leaked build of the software is now available for download for BlackBerry 10 users out there.

Featuring version 10.3.12.67, the new app iteration was spotted in a recently leaked BlackBerry OS 10.2.1.2947 with new functionality packed inside, including Stickers.

For those out of the loop, we should note that BlackBerry was set to make stickers available in the beta version of BBM last week, but that it was forced to delay the release, as N4BB reports.

Even so, the app is set to receive the update soon on BlackBerry devices. At the same time, it is expected to bring said functionality to other mobile platforms out there as well.

Before that happens, however, users interested in learning more on what it will have to offer to them can now download and install the aforementioned BBM 10.3.12.67 build, which is said to be compatible with all BlackBerry 10.2.1 and 10.3 devices.

Users should keep in mind that this is not an official release and should take all the necessary precautions before installing it. They will also need to side-load the BBM .bar file on their phones in order to get the app up and running.
