Receive replacement devices from Apple retail stores and repair centers

A new AppleCare+ model set to go into effect this Friday will enable iPhone 5 owners who travel around the globe to receive replacement devices from international stores and authorized repair shops.

Relayed by 9to5mac (via trusty old Sonny Dickson Down Under), the leaked document suggests customers will be covered in Brazil, China, India, Korea, the Middle East, Russia, Taiwan, Turkey, the United States Canada, and other countries.

Some device models will not be serviceable in some territories. For example, China will not service the A1428 iPhone 5 model, for one reason or another. The same goes for A1429 and A1422 models, which can’t be serviced in Brazil.

The document in question provides instructions to Apple retail employees “for replacement of iPhone 5 products that were originally purchased in a country other than where service is requested.”
