Moto X, the latest Android-based smartphone from Motorola, was made official with Google’s Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean operating system loaded on top, and might receive an update to Android 4.3 soon.

No official announcement on the release of the update has been provided as of now, but an Android 4.3 build for the device has already leaked.

The build reportedly comes from a test device, on T-Mobile’s network, and confirms that the phone maker is indeed working on the delivery of an update for the smartphone. Those who would like to download and install the software will need to have an unlocked bootloader for that.

Interestingly enough, XDA-Developers forum member jimmydafish who posted the flashable zip file for the handset, claims that the Android 4.3 build runs slower than be official Android 4.2.2 release.

However, it appears that Motorola did manage to pack the software with a series of camera improvements.
