Lumix GX7 is a Micro Four Thirds camera with a rear LCD, Wi-Fi support and NFC (near-field communications).

Panasonic has been working on it for quite a while, but despite that, the data available on I has been scarce.

Until now. 4/3 Rumors drew some conclusions after examining an image from Fotomagazin.de.

Basically, the Lumix GX7 will have a shutter speed of 1/8000, a 2.76 million-dot electronic viewfinder, a 5 fps burst mode, a built-in stereo microphone, and a tilting three-inch display on the rear.

Wi-Fi and NFC are also said to be part of the product.

As for the sensor, it will be of either 16 or 18 megapixels.

All in all, the Panasonic Lumix GX7 should be more than decent, although I'll leave it to buyers to decide if it's worth the $1,330 / €1,000 it's supposed to cost. Sales will start in September.
