The team at Riot Games in charge of the eSports side of League of Legends is ready to reveal that the World Championship finals are set to take place at the Mercedes-Benz Arena in Berlin on October 31, bringing together the best players in the world.

The company had previously only talked about a vague set of locations in Europe, but it seems that it is aiming to explore the best cities of the continent for the most important competition it is organizing.

The group stage for the World Championship of League of Legends will take place at the Le Dock Pullman in Paris, France, running from October 1 to 4, and October 8 to 11.

The Quarterfinals of the competition will unfold at the SSE Arena Wembley in London, United Kingdom, between October 15 and 18.

The semifinals will take gamers to the Brussels Expo in Belgium on October 24 and 25.

Riot Games states, "We began our search in earnest over a year ago, looking for venues and cities that gave us enough flexibility to customize live esports experiences for fans in the seats, as well as creating entertaining backdrops for players watching along at home."

Ticket information for the big events in the League of Legends World Championship will be announced in the next few weeks.

Games will also be able to watch all the action online via streaming.

League of Legends is one of the biggest MOBAs in the world of gaming

The big announcement about the venues allows fans to start planning their trips to the events and prepare for the type of matches they will be able to see.

League of Legends is a big name in the Multiplayer Online Battle Arena genre and all the titles in this space tend to organize major competitions on a yearly basis.

The International for DOTA 2 will take place at the beginning of August in Seattle, United States of America.

MOBAs constitute one of the biggest segments of modern gaming, and when they combine with eSports, they tend to create events that can rival the big sporting finals in terms of fan interest and audience.
