League of Legends has some pretty good music, and now Riot Games has made it available for everyone to enjoy for free.

The game is the most popular MOBA on the market, and the fact that it's free to play and completely balanced is a big part of that. The game routinely tops the popularity charts and rakes in massive revenue from its millions of worldwide players, and is also a pretty fun spectator sport, with many highly skilled streamers having a big following on Twitch.

The Music of League of Legends Vol. 1 puts together 15 tracks from the multiplayer online battle arena game, available through iTunes, Google Play or direct download. The track list is assembled from both new and classic songs.

The tracks are delivered in MP3 format encoded at 320kbps, and you can also listen to the tracks for free on the League of Legends website to see whether anything catches your ear.

More treats for the fans

You can also find a sample of the music, together with the animated story of Amumu, the Sad Mummy, below this article. In addition to this, audiophiles can also enjoy a neat 46-minutes documentary about the making of the game's soundtrack.

The game has a pretty rich lore, with each of the over 100 playable champions having its own back story and motives for fighting in the arena, but it's the moment-to-moment gameplay that won the game its title as the king of the MOBA genre.

In addition to this, Riot Games has always tried to enforce positivity among members of the community, including delivering various treats such as crazy game modes or offering the game's soundtrack for free.
