14 DAY TRIAL // After rolling out patch 5.3 for League of Legends, developer Riot Games has kicked off the Lunar Revel 2015 event, celebrating the upcoming Chinese New Year with major discounts on sets of items, not to mention new skins for Jynx, Katarina, and Nidalee.
League of Legends has been around for quite some time, but thanks to the dedication of developer Riot Games, the multiplayer online battle arena still has tens of millions of fans all around the world, each with a keen interest in the title.
Riot has made some sweeping changes in recent months, in anticipation of the 2015 competitive season, and now it's entering the holiday mood, after rolling out plenty of major updates.
Lunar Revel 2015 is underway
Like in previous years, League of Legends celebrates the upcoming Chinese New Year with its own in-game event, in the form of the Lunar Revel. The 2015 edition, like previous ones, brings forth new festive skins for popular characters, not to mention a wide variety of discounts on many items from the in-game store, according to the official website.
In terms of special skins, Katarina, Jynx, and Nidalee have received some mighty impressive designs with a distinct Asian celebration feel. Each of the skins costs a pretty steep 975 RP, so try not to spend all your virtual currency in one go.

You can also spend your RP on quite a lot of other things in the in-game store, such as Mystery Chests that cost 790 RP and contain a skin valued at 975 RP or over, as well as on a Lunar Revel Mystery Box that costs 490 RP and can contain one of the new skins or other goodies.
Previous Lunar Revel sets, such as Year of the Horse, Snake, or Dragon age are available with lower prices, while a massive Luna Revel bundle with all but the most recent skins can also be had.
