Although NVIDIA is yet to officially announce its 55nm G92 GPU, some manufacturers have decided to go forward with launching their own implementations of the GeForce 9800GTX+ GPU. Besides Inno3d which has been the first to announce the GeForce 9800GTX+ graphics card, Leadtek has also decided to make public its PX9800GTX+ card.

Leadtek is one of NVIDIA's best channel partners, offering a number of NVIDIA-based graphics cards that can satisfy the performance requirements of both gaming enthusiasts and mid-range users. The new PX9800GTX+ graphics card comes with the standard specification list and the basic fansink cooling system. The card is said to provide a 15% performance boost over the PX9800GTX model and it is compatible with 3-way SLI technology.

The card has been built with 128 streaming processing units and with GPU clock speed that has been set at 738MHz. The 512MB of GDDR3 memory running at a 256bit memory interface has a maximum speed of 2200MHz. The card supports the latest Microsoft DirectX 10 with full Shader Model 4.0 providing gaming users with the ultimate in gaming experience under the Windows Vista operating system. And to further enhance the gaming experience, Leadtek's new graphics card comes with NVIDIA's PhysX technology.

As you can see, Leadtek has decided to provide its users with the pure 55nm GeForce 9800GTX+ graphics power, without any factory overclocking. But to sweeten the offer, the Leadtek PX9800GTX+ has been bundled with the most popular adventure game, Neverwinter Nights 2. The price tag of this new card hasn't been specified, but users should expect it to hit the stores later this month.

The 55nm G92 GPU has been developed by NVIDIA to offer users an alternative to AMD's HD 4850 graphics card, providing more power than the 65nm 9800GTX for a much more affordable price.
