Leadtek Intros The All-in-One TV Tuner

The WinFast DTV1000 S comes with a host of supported functions

Leadtek Research just announced the launch of a new all-in-one TV tuner that is aimed at offering a special digital TV experience and turn a normal personal computer system into a complete multimedia home theater that also supports DVR functions like TV games and shows recording and

editing.

The newly launched Leadtek WinFast DTV1000 S TV tuner is very easy to install and configure, users having only to insert the add-on card into a free PCI slot, connect a TV signal source to it and then run the included wizard that will automatically set it up. Thanks to the automatic wizard installation, users will have the TV tuner up and running in just a few minutes and then they will be able to enjoy both ''high definition digital TV and DVB-T radio'', according to the manufacturing company Leadtek Research.

In order to be able to deliver video streams compatible with the latest image quality standards, the Leadtek WinFast DTV1000 S TV tuner comes with integrated HDTV and AC3 support as well as the most widely used and popular video and audio encoding file formats.

All the functions supported by the new Leadtek WinFast DTV1000 S TV tuner are available through a single and easy to use software application, the WinFast PVR2 that thanks to its friendly and intuitive interface allows users to easily access functions like DirectBurn, Time Shifting, Scheduled Power-up, Power on/off by Remote and TwinView. Apart from this software application, the new TV tuner from Leadtek also comes bundled with the WinFast Mobile Video Express suite that is made up of several useful utilities. The manufacturing company, Leadtek Research, did not disclose the pricing scheme of the WinFast DTV1000 S TV tuner, or its exact availability date, but it should hit the stores soon.
