Leadtek Introduces The Ultimate Generation WebCams!

No word about WinFast iCAM200 MA and iCAM100 M's pricing and availability

Leadtek has recently announced the addition of two new items to its WebCam series, such as WinFast iCAM200 MA and iCAM100 M. The new items are said to deliver full motion 30fps digital video streams and nice images with High Speed USB 2.0 and USB 1.1 connection.

The already mentioned iCAM series features a built-in high sensitive microphone to provide reasonable audio quality. The series also works with Skype, Windows Live Messenger, Yahoo!Messenger and supports 26 sorts of frames and video effects on the web

video instantly; however, that's not its best feature. WinFast iCAM 200MA provides 1.3 Mega-Pixel High-Definition video and features low-noise CMOS imaging technology for a good signal-to-noise ratio and low-light sensitivity.

Other technical details in the specifications list mention the auto focus, which can keep your images razor-sharp, even in close-ups. Not to mention there is an additional built-in snap shot button, which enables the user to take photos instantly. Moreover, WinFast iCAM 200MA does not require any driver installation since it completely supports USB Video Class1.

On the other hand, WinFast iCAM 100M provides dynamic 2.0 Mega-Pixel, static 5.0 Maga-Pixel and max resolution of 2.560 x 2.048. To automatically get good images, even in dim light, the manufactures integrated 6 LEDs for a low-light environment.

And there is even more to it: since they added WinFast Mobile Video Express pack comprised of a 3D Album, iPod and PSP Video Converter, and Orb, it will be possible to carry and watch your favorite video on your personal iPod and PSP just about anywhere you go.

Since it follows the latest technology in the industry, it will also enable cool music streaming, videos and live TV through any Internet-connected device, which means the user will be able to use a mobile phone, a PDA or a laptop with the Orb application, to get favorite content.

In addition, it seems that with the WinFast iCAM series, the users are going to be able to upgrade their PCs to a video phone and simple monitoring device and using the software, to call their family and see what's going on at home.

The conclusion: WinFast iCAM200 MA and iCAM100 M are definitely much more than just WebCams. According to Leadtek, "they could just become your total mobile entertainment and surveillance solution." Indeed!
