The Sims 3 World Adventures expansion pack is set to arrive in November and Electronic Arts is keen on showing off the new content that players will enjoy when getting this fresh Sims experience. One of the selling points of the package is set to be the music featured, with a lot of stars, including Katie Melua and LeAnn Rimes, offering their songs to the game that uses the Simlish language.
The songs that players can listen to while enjoying the new adventures of the Sims are: LeAnn Rimes – “You've Ruined Me;” Fefe Dobson – “I Want You;” Katie Melua – “If the lights go out;” Madina Lake – “Lets Get Outta Here;” Manchester Orchestra – “I've Got Friends;” Natalie Portman's Shaved Head – “Me + Yr Daughter;” Esme Denters – “Outta Here;” Hot Chelle Rae – “Say;” Audrye Sessions – “Turn Me Off;” Metalkpretty – “Wake Up, Wake Up;” Evan Taubenfeld – “Pumpkin Pie;” Friday Night Boys – “Can't Take That Away;” Cassie Steele – “Summer Nights;” Broken Hearts College – “Na Na Na;” Nelly Furtado – “Manos al Aire;” Pixie Lott – “Mama Do;” Stefanie Heinzmann – “No One (Can Ever Change My Mind);” Matt & Kim – “Daylight” and Young Punx – “Juice and Sim.”
Steve Schnur, who is in charge of in-game music at Electronic Arts, said that “Once again, the musical world of The Sims comes to life with some of the world’s biggest stars of today and tomorrow performing their hits in Simlish. In the future, look for exciting music videos to accompany some of these songs, which will further demonstrate that Simlish is truly a global language.”
The Sims 3 World Adventures is set to allow players to take their characters to places like Shang Simla in China, Al Simbara in Egypt or Champs Les Sims in France in order to experience new adventures and learn fresh character skills. The game will be out on November 16 and EA will also offer a Special Edition, incorporating holiday content, the next day.
