LeAnn Rimes and husband Eddie Cibrian made their reality TV debut last week, when their long-delayed show LeAnn & Eddie finally premiered on VH1. Reviews after the first episode were anything but glowing, but from where LeAnn is standing, she’s seeing nothing but sunshine.

People from the network are telling her that the show is a “success,” so she posted the following message to her Twitter.

“Heard from the head of @vh1 that the show did very well, they are extremely happy w/ the debut and all the social activity from last night. Thx everyone for making the show a success! Let's keep it up! #LeAnnAndEddie.”

When LeAnn says “everyone,” she means just that. “We adore all of our fans AND our haters! Thank you xoxo,” she adds.

There’s no denying that many tuned in to see the debut of the series, even though the first episode became available online a full day ahead. That hardly makes it a success though, so LeAnn would be better off if she waited to see the viewership for the second episode before proclaiming it a hit.

She could also benefit from reading some of the reviews available online, both from the fans and television critics. Most of them do her and Eddie no favors because they describe the show as exactly what it is: a mess, a means to capitalize on the tabloid attention while claiming they hate it.
