Singer and actress LeAnn Rimes married Eddie Cibrian a little over a year ago, but she still lives in terror as to what his ex-wife, Brandi Glanville, might do to her, especially after she went on the record saying she once thought about killing her. The feud, as gossip lovers might remember, goes back a long way, when the first allegations that Eddie (then married to Brandi) was sleeping with his co-star LeAnn.
Judging by Brandi's recent interview with
NW Magazine, she's not over the whole thing yet and, most of all, she's upset that LeAnn is trying to replace her as mother to her own kids with Eddie.
A source is now telling
Celebuzz that LeAnn is very much afraid of Brandi and, at one point, even considered asking a judge to issue a restraining order.
“Brandi has told LeAnn to her face multiple times that she would kill her if she could,” the insider reveals for the celebrity e-zine.
“LeAnn is scared of Brandi and believes she is unstable. LeAnn’s own mother is concerned for her daughter’s safety too and regularly calls her to tell her so,” adds the same close source.
In her defense, Brandi doesn't say in the interview that she harbors negative feelings towards her ex-husband's current wife all the time, just that she did so when she saw her bonding with her child.
It all happened at one of the kids' soccer games where, of course, both women were present.
“I remember walking up... and there she was with my baby in her lap. My blood was boiling, and I thought I was going to kill her. I really thought I was going to physically hurt her,” Glanville said for the aforementioned magazine.
“That was the first time I saw her that way – she was sitting in my soccer chair, under my tent, she's got my kid on her lap and she's with my husband, and that was that little moment of total irrational fury,” Brandi added.
