LeAnn Rimes’ personal life became tabloid fodder when word got out that she was cheating on her husband with then-married co-star Eddie Cibrian, but never before has she been plagued by rumors as in these past few months. She’s setting the record straight on some of them now.

To promote her brand new album, LeAnn sat down for an interview with the British publication the Daily Mail and, among the topics up for discussion were also her rumored eating disorder, her recent rehab stint, her addiction to Twitter, and cheating with Eddie, who is now her husband.

She was never an anorexic, despite what countless online reports said a while back.

LeAnn admits that she lost a lot of weight but she says that, with her, losing or gaining weight is always directly dependent on the amount of stress in her life at that particular moment.

In other words, considering the media backlash against her for cheating on her husband with Eddie, it’s easy to understand why she lost so much weight.

“People said I was [anorexic], but I didn’t have a problem with eating as I ate a ton all the time – I could eat my husband under the table! But I was going through a time when I just wasn’t sleeping – my mind wouldn’t shut off and my heart was breaking,” she explains.

“Now I’m secure about my body, although I’m like any other woman and have my moments of self doubt,” LeAnn says.

Eddie has been incredibly supportive through all this, she can’t help but notice.

“It’s nice to have a husband who tells you you’re beautiful all the time. I’ll say to him: ‘I’ve gained a few pounds’ and he’ll say: ‘Good!’. It just gives you another level of confidence. But being in this business, I’ve noticed that image-wise it’s definitely worse for a woman,” LeAnn notes.

As we also reported a while back, rumors of an eating disorder were actually fueled by Eddie’s ex-wife Brandi Glanville, who claimed to have firsthand knowledge of how LeAnn would starve herself to lose weight.
