Le Pan III is the ICS-based tablet unveiled back in January at the International Consumers Electronics Show in Las Vegas.

The folks over at Engadget have just learned that the slate has been approved by FCC (Federal Communications Commission) and will soon make its way on the North American market.

As the manufacturer suggests, Le Pan III is powered by Google’s Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system and packs a dual-core processor clocked at 1.5 GHz.

The tablet sports a 9.7-inch capacitive touchscreen display, 1 GB of RAM, as well as dual cameras (5-megapixel rear photo snapper and 2-megapixel front-facing camera for video calls).

It is also worth mentioning the slate is now on “Coming Soon” at Le Pan’s site, so it shouldn’t take too long until it gets released.
