14 DAY TRIAL // The latest episode of “Law & Order: SVU” mirrors the events involving Chris Brown and Rihanna when, in 2009, he beat her bloody in a fit of rage, but also their breakup and later reconciliation. It also offers a tragic ending to their love story.
Above is a trailer for the episode in question. Producers have refused to comment on whether it was inspired in Rihanna and Brown’s story but, voices online are saying, the similarities are too many for this to be just a coincidence.

As was to be expected, including the 2009 assault and everything else that followed it in an “SVU” episode has gotten many Brown – Rihanna fans angry.
The two singers are together again, having recently gone public with news of their reconciliation. They both swear that what happened in 2009 was just an isolated incident.
