One thing that Samsung does not lack is fans. More than that, it does not lack fans that are willing to provide it with concept phone designs. Lucky should be he or she that has his/her design picked up by the company since they would probably make a lot of money off it. However, come to think of it, this rarely ever happens, which means that most concept phones never even get to hit the market.

Take Andrew Kim’s Samsung concept phone, for instance. Right from the start, we see some interesting functions. The so-called Lavender is a stylish phone that looks like a bottle of perfume. The perfume connection doesn't stop here, since the device also comes with a perfume plastic dispenser that is refillable, to ensure that the user will smell good at any given moment. Stating the obvious, this is a phone designed for women.

Other features of the Samsung Lavender include a back camera surrounded by the flash and “Starlight” LEDs designed to lit up in the dark, a back USB connector and 3 accessories. The first accessory is the lavender light, which emits bacteria fighting UV light during charging, while during regular usage the LEDs emit light when the touchscreen is in use. The perfume dispenser, the second innovative accessory, can be activated by pressing on the metal head, while the last accessory is a stylish clip used for attaching the device to clothes or anything else.

The menu is designed to be as delicate and stylish as the exterior of the phone, with the welcome screen providing an overall look at the date and time, but also a widget bar for quick information like stocks and weather. When users press the home button, they are directed to the main menu of the phone. The Lavender also has a built-in accelerometer, while the user interface is designed to show the perfume level and battery life. The phone, of course, comes with multimedia capabilities (only music-related ones are pictured by the designer), and is a full touchscreen device.
